Danielle

Hello walnut sun
sad, old beauty
open my heart with care
      not everyone wants to see
      salty pain in the
                                         sleeping oil paintings.

I should just mask the questions

      under the covers.

I've been waiting hopefully
   and hopeless, but not afraid

of this beautiful bed.

Airplanes
sweet after
a lifetime of chaotic love
fly and cry

(allow her beauty often
she likes it this way
bounty
abundance
plenty)

I want
I give
I gave
I grow
I will
I was

bound to rusty nails
in the garden

I will

you
           into
      my
                    bed
